ROYAL DUBLIN GOLF CLUB

The Royal Dublin Golf Club is home to a superb and very traditional golf links on Bull Island in Dublin Bay. It is the second oldest golf club in Ireland instituted in 1885, and received its Royal designation in 1891. The renowned Irish player and Ryder Cupper Christy O'Connor joined Royal Dublin in 1959 as club professional, and his association with the club continues to this day. Television commentator David Feherty won his first professional tournament at Royal Dublin.
