England’s Golf Coast is home to 18 of the most challenging and naturally beautiful golf courses in Britain. Stretching from Cumbria and the Lake District in the north down to the Wirral and Chester in the south, this golfing nirvana offers visitors a jaw-dropping 200 golf courses to choose from.

In total, England’s Golf Coast boasts three of the top 20 and seven of the top 50 courses in the UK and Ireland and four of the links courses are among the WORLD’S Top 80 as well as being home to three of the finest Open Championship courses – Royal Birkdale, Royal Liverpool and Royal Lytham & St Annes. Together these world-famous venues have hosted the Open Championship on no fewer than 30 occasions since 1897.
